Hello! My name is Mackenzie Owens, It's great to meet you!
I am a dedicated Medical Artist with a BFA in Visual Communication from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MSc in Medical Art from the University of Dundee. I have always loved merging inclination for design and storytelling with my interest in education. My goal is to create art that is as functional as it is beautiful.
I have a multifaceted skill set that includes 3D modeling, animation, storyboarding, illustration and design. I use all of these skill sets to create immersive learning experiences through captivating visuals. I love the idea of taking advantage of humans' natural need for storytelling to teach in an increasingly complex world.
In my free time I love to stay active, going to the gym, playing sports with friends or going for a run. I also have a particular love for good podcasts and books and would love to talk about your favorite one! Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
